Remembrance event held at Mullivaikkal

Tamils gathered at the site of the final battle in Mullivaikkal this morning to commemorate those who died in the end phase of the armed conflict.

 

 

Chief Minister Wigneswaran, the TNA's Maavai Senathirajah and D Siddharthan joined local families on the beach at Mullivaikkal, while members of the CID and military intelligence looked on.
