14 killed in Burkina Faso Church shooting

At least 14 people were killed during a church service in Hantoukoura, in the east of Burkina Fasco.

The death counts included the pastor as well as children attending the church.

The death follows ethnic and religious tension in the region. Last October, an attack on a mosque killed 15 people and two were seriously injured.

So far the identity of the attack and motivations are unclear however, it is suspected to have been organised by Islamist militants have groups.
