Sri Lankan soldiers hand out rations to Tamil families

Sri Lankan troops handed out dry rations and vegetables to the “needy people of Jaffna” in a military-run ceremony on Thursday.

Troops from the Sri Lankan security forces stationed in Jaffna distributed the goods amongst 30 Tamil families in the region, as apart of the army's “community welfare programs” declared a military website.
