The Sri Lankan army held a ‘Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare Course’ for military officers from across Asia earlier this year, touring them across Jaffna.

Military officers from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives and Nepal were given a tour of Jaffna as part of the counter insurgency course. Amongst the areas they visited was the heavily mined region of Muhumalai.

Amongst the presentations given to the foreign officials was one entitled “Handling of Post War Scenario in SFHQ Level”.
