A window was stolen from a historic site in Nallur, Jaffna which dates back to the 13th century.
The back windows had been removed along with the window bars.
The archaeological building associated with the ancient Jaffna kingdom was historically used as a minister’s abode until the invasion of the Portuguese in the 1560s.
A complaint has been lodged at the Kopai police station, an investigation is currently underway.
