TNA MPs say the recent elections and the alliance's massive victory in the Tamil North-East gave Tamil nationalism a "big boost".
Batticaloa MP Seenithamby Yogeswaran said the Tamil freedom struggle, started by Tamil leaders several years ago, would continue until its objective is achieved, while addressing a meeting in Thuraineelavanai.
Mr Yogeswaran further said those against Tamil nationalism will be considered "enemies".
"I will consider even my relatives who worked against the policy of Tamil nationalism as traitors to the community," he said.
Another MP, Amparai district's Ariyanayakam Kavindran Kodeeswaran, said the Tamil electorate had sent a strong message to those who wanted to destroy Tamil nationalism.
Speaking in Periyaneelavanai, Mr Kodeeswaran said the mandate given to TNA leader R Sampanthan by the Tamil people would ensure a sustainable political solution to the ethnic problem, with the support of the international community, Ceylon Today reported.
