Leaflets from Sri Lankan security forces, have been distributed across the North warning the Tamil population to “co-operate” with the Army, reported the Uthayan.
In Vavuniya and Jaffna, leaflets headed “This is about the safety of you and your children” were distributed stating that people involved in “disrupting peace” could be in the region, going on to warn people to stay vigilant of non-governmental organisations.
The leaflets, signed off by the Sri Lankan security forces concluded “you must co-operate with us by not supporting these activities”.
