The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) told its Northern Province Chief Minister, C.V Wigneswaran, to boycott the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) today.
Following a lengthy discussion held between the constituent parties of the TNA , a decision to boycott the summit was agreed upon and officially communicated to CV Wigneswaran.
