Students at Imperial College London continued the "Breaking the Silence" campaign at British universities earlier this week, following on from their fellow students at King's College London.
Displaying an exhibition of posters made by the students themselves, a large crowd gathered at the student Union and Junior Common Room, within the Sherffield Building to learn more about the ongoing genocide of the Tamil nation.
Organisers from Imperial's Tamil Society, one of London's oldest Tamil societies, said they were taken aback by the interest expressed by students and staff at the university, with many keen to learn more.

Also on display was artwork depicting the horrors of the war, including conditions in Internally Displaced Persons camps.
The "Breaking the Silence" campaign has been taking place annually at university campuses across London since 2009, commemorating the run up to Tamil National Remembrance Day on the 27th of November.
