India has agreed to provide a grant of around $1.4 million USD to build an information technology park in Jaffna.
The Indian government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Lanka on Thursday to establish a business centre for ICT incubators/ accelerators in Jaffna through a grant of 250 million rupees (LKR).
The Business Centre would provide opportunities and enhance the enabling environment for Information Communication Technology (ICT) and other professional services in the Northern region, the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka said.
