Army hands out glasses to civilians

 

Sri Lanka's military provided eye surgery for Tamil civilians in Kilinochchi last month.

Security Forces Head Quarters - Kilinochchi, in cooperation with the Vishwaparami Foundation, a Colombo-based organisation, has been involved in optometry services for  locals for a few months.

Brigadier Senaka Dissanayake, Brigadier Administration and Quartering SFHQ-KLN, on behalf of the Kilinochchi commander, attended the project in the company of several senior officers, according to the army website.
