Tamil politicians and rights activists discuss Tamil genocide in Sri Lanka in Geneva

A panel discussion by Tamil politicians and rights activists took place in Geneva today, on the 'Tamil genocide in Sri Lanka and the international community's responsibility to protect'.

Panellists included: Professor Sri Ranjan, the co-chair of the International Council of Eelam Tamils (ICET), Burmese democracy activist and one of the judges at the Permanent People's Tribunal on Sri Lanka which took place in Bremen in 2013, the Northern Provincial Councillor, Mahalingham Shivajilingham and fellow councillor with the Tamil National Alliance (TNA), Ananthy Sasitharan, as well as the president of the Tamil National People's Front (TNPF), Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam. The panel was moderated by one of the editors of the Tamil Guardian, Sivakami Rajamanoharan.
