Mr Sivananthan, who is currently held at the Morton Hall detention centre in Lincolnshire, is thought to have been tortured in Sri Lanka and held captive for 10 days by Sri Lankan police.
Doctors have warned that Mr Sivananthan’s mental health has already decline during his detention at Mortan Hall detention centre, and risks being re-traumatised.
The asylum seeker was detained by British officials last year, where he was diagnosed with suffering from PTSD and other anxiety related illnesses, reports Open Democracy.
