The Tamil Youth Organization (TYO) France and the political wing of the Confédération Comité Tamoul de France (CCTF) jointly launched an immersive exhibition on 17 May 2025, chronicling the history of Tamil Eelam and the genocide perpetrated against its people since 1948.

The exhibition, which was designed to be a fully sensory experience, drew visitors into the emotional, physical, and psychological realities of exile, war, loss, and resistance.

Each section of the exhibition was curated to engage all five senses, immersing participants in the textures of displacement, the sounds of shelling and mourning, the scent of scorched earth, and the chilling silence of the disappeared.

A total of 185 people, including children, families, and visitors from diverse backgrounds, visited the exhibition. Many were visibly moved. Some stood in silence, stunned by the rawness of the testimonies and the tactile presentation. Others wept openly.

Parents described the unexpected emotional weight of the experience, while younger attendees voiced a strong desire for the exhibition to become a recurring event - so that more people can understand the depth of the Tamil people's pain, and the resilience of their struggle.
