The Australian prime minister commended Sri Lanka's successful implementation of the LLRC recommendations and the country’s ability to maintain a remarkable economic growth.
“The fact that the LLRC is going so well is a credit to you,” said Tony Abbott at a bilateral meeting at the side-lines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), reports Colombo Page.
Abbott also thanked Sri Lanka for the help it had given on “people smuggling issues.”
