Voters in Kayts wait for hours for transport to polling station

Voters registered at the Nedunthivu polling station in Kayts, Jaffna have been waiting for hours for the boat service to travel to the polling station, the Centre for Monitoring Election Violence (CMEV) reported

Voters were waiting at Kurikattavan from 8:00am for the boat service which only arrived at 11:30am. The CMEV have lodged a complaint with the Election Commission of Sri Lanka.
