TNPF begins journey to Mullivaikkal with commemoration of Tamil genocide

The Tamil National People’s Front launched a float that drove across the Jaffna district today, as part of a campaign to commemorate the Tamil genocide across the North-East in the days leading up to May 18th.

The float, which bore slogans calling for international justice and for the recognition of self-determination for the Tamil people, visited various parts of Jaffna today. Lawmakers Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam and Selvarajah Kajendran took part in the commemorations.

It will visit districts across the North-East, before finally reaching Mullivaikkal on May 18th.
