Time magazine stopped by Sri Lankan customs

The New York Time magazine were stopped by Sri Lankan customs at the Bandaranaike International Airport, reported Ceylon Today.

The magazine carried a cover story that compared the  Myanmar Buddhist organisation , Buddhist 969,to the Sri Lankan organisation, the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS).

It is reported that the activities of Buddhist 969 in Mayanmar, have led to the displacement of over 140,000 residents and the loss of 200 lives.
