A former LTTE cadre was arrested by Sri Lanka’s Terrorism Investigation Department (TID) in Udaiyarkadu, Mullaithivu on Thursday, reported the Uthayan.
Sinnathurai Srikanthan, originally from Puthoor in the Jaffna district, went through the government’s rehabilitation programme, after the end of the armed conflict and was released.
The Uthayan further said that three youths had been arrested in the same area over the last few days.
