Tamil families of the disappeared commemorated Lt Col Thileepan in Vavuniya to mark 37 years since he fasted unto death.
A flame was lit in front of the Pongu Tamil monument yesterday while the families of the disappeared, Tamil National People's Front MP Selvarajah Kajendren and local residents paid their respects.
