St. Soosaiyappar church festival celebrated in Mannar

Devotees in Mannar celebrated the St. Soosaiyappar church festival last week.

The church, which saw a heavy inflow of devotees over 9 days of prayer led by the local priest and Archbishop, culminated its festival on the morning of Friday 19th March.  

 The festival included special prayers and the decoration of the St. Soosaiyappar statue to be presented to all those who attended. Many senior government officials, religious personnel, politicians and locals were in attendance.
