Sri Lanka's bribery commission criticised by cross party MPs

Both government and opposition MPs on Wednesday criticised the Bribery Commission for failing to take action on pending cases. 

A number of MPs from the UNP, SLFP and JVP told parliament of pending cases where no action had been taken. 

The present unity government was elected on pledge to end corruption in the country and ensure prosecutions.
