Sri Lankan troops conduct Buddhist ceremony in Mullaitivu


The Sri Lankan military conducted a Buddhist ceremony in Mullaitivu on Christmas Eve, as part of religious ceremonies the military continues to undertake in the North-East.

Soldiers from the 6 Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLACMP) serving under the Security Force Headquarters – Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) dressed in white and washed the feet of Buddhist monks as part of the ceremony, held at a vihara in the Tamil North-East.
