^{St Anthony's church, Colombo after Easter Sunday bombings}

Sri Lankan police yesterday named the nine men and women responsible for the Easter Sunday suicide bombings which killed over 250 people. 

Confirming reports over recent days, the police said the sons of the wealthy spice merchant were responsible for the bombing of two luxury hotels. 

Zahran Hashim, leader of the National Thowheeth Jama'ath (NTJ), bombed the Shangri-La hotel, together with one of the brothers, Ilham Ahmed Mohamed Ibrahim. 

Ilham's wife, Fathima Ilham, detonated a suicide bomb vest when police officers surrounded their home in Colombo, killing their two children. His elder brother, Inshaf Ahmed, bombed the Cinnamon Grand hotel. 

Kingbury Hotel was targetted by Mohamed Azzam Mubarak Mohamed, whose wife was arrested by the police.

The Zion church in Batticaloa and St Anthony's Church in Colombo were targetted by local residents, Mohamed Nasser Mohamed Asad and Ahmed Muaz respectively. 

Muaz's brother is currently in police custody. Asad's mother was also detained by security forces. 

St Sebastian's Church was bombed by Mohamed Hasthun, who was from Batticaloa. 

Abdul Latheef, who studied in Australia as well as Kingston University in the UK, detonated his device accidently at a Colombo guest house after it failed to go off at a luxury hotel.
