The Sri Lankan police force has constructed a new makeshift Buddhist shrine in Kayts in Jaffna, according to latest reports.
The Buddhist shrine has been built on private land which is currently being occupied by the Sri Lankan forces, after Tamil villagers were displaced from the area in 1990.
