Sri Lankan navy arrest 11 Tamil Nadu fishermen

Eleven Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrested yesterday by Sri Lankan navy personnel for allegedly poaching fish. 

The men were apprehended off the coast of Analathivu Island. 

Two fishing trawlers were also seized. The men and their trawlers were taken to the navy base Elara, before being handed over to the Assistant Director of Fisheries in Jaffna.
