Sri Lankan Air Force holds military exhibition in Vavuniya

The Sri Lankan Air Force held a military exhibition in Vavuniya earlier this month, showcasing aircraft and weapons used during the island’s armed conflict.

The military described the exhibition as “a great opportunity for you to see up close the fighter and other air assets of the Sri Lanka Air Force”.

Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy opened the proceedings at the Sri Lankan Air Force base in Vavuniya.

“Children as well as adults were seen thoroughly enjoying themselves, braving even the inclement weather which was unable to dampen the spirit,” reported an official military website.
