SL security personnel clash with Chinese workers in Colombo, 11 arrested

Sri Lankan security personnel clashed with Chinese workers at the Chatham Street construction site in Colombo yesterday, the Daily Mirror reports. 

Three security personnel were said to be involved in the clash with two Chinese workers following an argument on Saturday afternoon. 

Eleven Chinese construction workers were arrested, after one of the security personnel lodged a complaint with Colombo Fort police. 

They are to be held in remand until December 28 when they will be produced before Fort Magistrate's Court.
