SL promises to back Nigeria at UN Sec Council

Sri Lanka has promised to support Nigeria in its bid for a non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council, reports the Colombo Gazette.

According to the paper, the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan revealed Sri Lanka's pledge after a meeting wtih the Sri Lanka's new High Commissioner to Nigeria, Anura Liyanage.
