Pilavu day 18: 'trespassers will be shot'

The Pilavu protest for the return of lands continued for the eighteenth day today. The Pilavu families stated that they were under pressure to abandon the protest due to a presidential pledge that their lands would soon be returned.

Meanwhile a sign in mispelt Tamil was erected in the protestors' land today, announcing that the land belonged to the air force and any trespassers would be shot.
