Residents of a Mullaitivu village who were unable to travel to the disappearances rally in Kilinochchi on Monday held a solidarity protest in their village instead.
While businesses observed hartal in Iyankulam in Thunukkai, residents marched through the village in a solidarity protest demanding justice for families of the disappeared.
