Indian officials visit new housing scheme in Batticaloa

A senior official from India's Ministry of External Affairs visited Batticaloa on Friday to inspect progress at the third stage of India's housing scheme. 

Dr Sumeet Jerath oversaw the laying of the foundation stone for the development during a ceremony on Friday, before meeting with local NGOs.
