Danish Tamils remember Anton Balasingham

Tamils in Denmark marked 16 years since the death of Anton Balasingham, the chief political strategist of the LTTE.

Balasingham, aged 68 years, passed away at his home in South London on December 14, 2006. His death sparked grief across the Tamil nation, with three days of mourning declared.

The event commenced with placing candles and flowers before the photograph of the late chief political strategist of the LTTE and was accompanied with speeches and poems in tribute to the late Balasingham.
