1,881 days and counting – Tamil families of the disappeared continue to protest

Tamil families of the disappeared in Vavuniya continued their protest earlier today, marking 1,881 days of their continuous demonstration as they demanded justice for the forcible disappeared of their loved ones.

Holding banners demanding justice and photographs of their loved ones, the families continued to call for an international accountability mechanism.

Their continuous protest has lasted for more than 5 years, alongside other Tamil families across the North-East.
