Tamils in Australia marked Tamil National Remembrance Day (Maaveerar Naal) on November 27, with events held in Sydney and Melbourne.
In addition to the lighting of candles and laying of flowers, a number of dances and musical recitals in memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the Tamil struggle were performed.
