Families of the disappeared protest in Maruthankerny marked one year since their ongoing campaign began.

They were joined by protestors from Kilinochchi, Trincomalee, Mullaitivu and Vavuniya who all passed one year of protest in their locations in recent weeks.

The protestors marched to the Maruthankerny divisional secretariat to hand over a petition directed at the United Nations, calling for international action to ensure truth and accountability for the disappearances of their relatives.
