US rejects Sri Lankan military officials

The United States have refused to include two Sri Lankan army generals in a military event that that is scheduled to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, reported Sri Lankan news sources.

The army generals, Jagath Dias and Suantha Ranasinghe, who both held prominent roles during the final stages of the conflict in May 2009, and were rejected over accountability issues.
