Students at University College London held their annual 'Breaking the Silence' exhibition this term, raising awareness of the ongoing genocide of the Tamil people and human rights abuses taking place on the island of Sri Lanka.
Taking place at the North Cloisters in the Main Building, dozens of passers by stopped to view the posters and artwork on display highlighting the ongoing human rights violations taking place.
After viewing the exhibition, students wrote down their thoughts, expressing shock at the deplorable situation on the island.
